También llamado Notepad Plus, Notepad++  es un editor gratuito avanzado de texto y código fuente de programación, en la que se mejora la estabilidad del programa. Notepad++ se basa en el editor Scintilla, está escrito en C++ y utiliza directamente la API de win32 y STL, por lo cual resulta muy eficiente, rápido y reduce el tamaño del programa final.Notepad++ se puede utilizar también para escribir texto normal, ofreciendo más funcionalidades que el bloc de notas de Windows, disponible en español y puede utilizarse en cualquier sistemas operativos Windows, incluyendo Windows 7 y 8/ 8.1
